We just purchsed Solarwinds observability and when we added our HPE Aruba 6200M switches they all have errors for Cached Memory and shared memory. Any idea on how to clear this?
Your CPU and Memory is anyways being monitored on the whole, if you still want to look into Cache and Shared - raise a vendor support case to figure out what OIDs are used to pull this information and then track it from there. If this isnt really required why monitor the same ? You can delete them from monitoring, but if you want to fix the same you will need to dig deeper to understand what OID is used by SolarWinds to pull this info and you will be able to figure out from there.
Hope this helps.
I suspect, knowing Aruba nodes as I do, that the default poller for Solarwinds is looking at the wrong OID - as @vinay.by suggests. To correct a lot of missing or inaccurate aspects we have built our own pollers for Aruba kit, but we also do not monitor any of the "volume utilisation" aspects. If they are wrong, then I seriously doubt that even a dedicated poller for these devices would work, and your only solution would be to build and deploy a number of UNDPs.
