I'm seeking some clarification on the license part, request you to provide your inputs on this?
What is the immediate impact of an expired "Orion Additional Polling Engine" maintenance license?
Do all nodes monitored by that APE stop polling immediately, or is there a grace period?
Does the main Orion server take over the polling for those nodes, or do they become unmanaged?
What specifically happens to the nodes that were being monitored by the APE?
Do they show a "down" or "unmanaged" status in the Orion web console?
Is all historical data for these nodes lost, or is it still accessible?
Can I still view performance and availability history for these nodes, even if new data is not being collected?
Are there any long-term consequences of having an expired license?
Besides not being able to poll new data or receive technical support, are there any other functions that are disabled?
Does an expired maintenance license prevent future software upgrades or patches for the entire Orion platform, even if the core license is active?
- Any other suggestion or add-on points to understand this scenario?
