Keep Alerts, But Don't Show Server as Red

As I create dashboards for other groups in the company (i.e., non-technical), I would like to have the servers show as red/down only when those servers are actually down. I don't want things like high CPU or application latency to contribute to the up/down status of the device. Is this possible?

You are looking for the Status roll up mode

Depending on how you are set up to suppress CPU and Ram from altering the 'green' you may also need to tweak the nodes default thresholds.
Set custom thresholds for devices

Personally, I would leave the roll up status. I would tweak the thresholds to be green for normal stuff in the node and assigned apps. I would build alerts to focus on 'down' (or other exact conditions) instead of 'not up'

Thanks for the quick response. I've made general changes to the default thresholds but that's not always the solution when we have servers that frequently hit 100% CPU for long periods, etc. So I'm trying the Status Rollup route. This might come back to haunt me...
