Create Pie Chart to detail Types of Devices at a Location

Greetings All.

Been banging my head against a problem and not making progress.  Time to ask the Thwack Collective Mind.

I've got an Enterprise Map with items on it representing company locations.

A sub-view exists for each location that displays additional data about that location.

Each node has a Custom Property for DeviceType - Router, Switch, Windows Server, Linux Server, etc.

I'd like to add a Pie Chart in the sub-view for each location detailing the number of each device at that location.

Unfortunately working with Classic dashboards not the cool modern dashboards.

I welcome any input from the community on how I can add a Pie Chart to my location sub-view.

 @cscoengineer  Has done pie charts in the custom html panel with javascript several times before, of course today I can't find a link though.
Did find @adam.beedell  posted some working javascript in this thread a few years back
