Edit: It's enough if you tried to create an anomaly-based alert once and decided not to use it for whatever reason.

I find them very limiting as I can not custom fields to limit the scope. Also, time consuming having to select each one individually vs select ALL. When I have hundreds of the same type of node this is very time consuming.

I used to manage an inventory of 800+ sites, 15k+ network CI's alone, along with a plethora of other departments that needed hand holding and babysitting to ensure they didn't break the automation loop we created that relied heavily on custom properties. I truly feel your pain, as it was like a 40 hour job weekly on top of my other obligations.
