API for Network Sonar Discovery

Hi guys
I'm new to SolarWinds. I wonder if there is any restful API at SolarWinds I can call and reference to in Python so that I can use it to automate Network Sonar Discovery.
Any input is welcome.

Thanks @yaquaholic for providing the link.
However I still confused which specific API can be used for automating Network Sonar Discovery.
And from the OrionSDK github, the last release was at Jul 24, 2023, which menas there has been no update since 2023...

I think there is something wrong with this specific module right now. You can see my post here: Network Discovery API Change? - SolarWinds SDK - The SolarWinds Platform - THWACK

Typically, you can use the PowerShell SWIS as shown below where xxx is the scan ID number:

Invoke-SwisVerb $swis Orion.Discovery StartDiscoveryProfile xxx

Now when I use this, it provides an error saying it needs the engine ID, but the engine is part of the profile. Seems broken to me, but not sure until somebody replies. If you can bump/like my post in any way, it might help get a response. Otherwise, I am not sure what to do yet.

Edit: I was able to get the StartDiscoveryProfile to work using <prifile ID>,<Engine ID>

The Engine ID has to match what is in the discovery profile or it will fail. Again, I think this is an error on the part of SolarWinds as you should not need to provide an engine ID because it is already defined in the profile and this was never required before.
