ERROR message 'There was an error processing the request' and the loading box will spin indefinitely when using NCM History log

Version 2022.4.1 with NPM, NCM and NTA installed.

I'm having the same issue with Error message 'There was an error processing the request' appearing when trying to do anything with NCM. NPM and NTA working fine.

I have tried replacing the 'SolarWinds.InformationService.Linq.Plugins.NCM.dll' as described here Thwack thread and support have suggested trying the following Manually repair the SW collector and SW Jobenginev2.

Waiting on support coming up with a fix. But wondered if anyone had any other solutions from a support case.

Hey Rocco, have you watched in the "OrionWeb.log" file to see if you can get a better idea of what's happening when you get the error?

Also, I'm having trouble remembering exactly which version took us from Orion to Solarwinds platform. In 2022.4.1, are all of the products still separate installs? You could try to repair the NCM installation without much risk, if so. I think I have resolved a similar issue by doing this in the past.

Thanks for the reply. I will have a look in this .log file.

I think it was the 2020 versions that went to all in 1 installer. This is a production platform, which I have thought of running the repair. But I spent time yesterday getting the justification of upgrading. Which has been approved. So I will wait for that window, repair first. Test successful. Then upgrade a working platform.
