Not able to see the interface utilization % field in the interface traffic cur table

Hi,

We are unable not able to see the interface utilization % field in the interface traffic cur table under Orion database. Can some one assist me whether this field is available in the database or what needs to be done to get the utilization in %?.

We have capacity team and on daily basis they need to fetch the data and for this they require utilization in % field?

I think this is the older way of doing it but you can use these variables:

e.g. ${InPercentUtil} and ${OutPercentUtil}

Or something like this:
Interface ${NetObjectName} on ${NodeName} received at ${Interface.InPercentUtil}% of its utilization

Hi,

Capacity team needs to fetch the interface utilization in % for all the network devices as they will write the code in their tool. They need to pull the utilization % for an interface so we gave this table - [SolarWindsOrion].[dbo].[InterfaceTraffic_CS_cur] but we dont see the util % so the question is in the orion database do we have the bandwidth util% field?

These look to be all of the fields for "in" utilisation":
SELECT TOP 1000 * FROM [dbo].[InterfacesInPercentUtilization]

and similarly for "out":
SELECT TOP 1000 * FROM [dbo].[InterfacesOutPercentUtilization]

So the above listed are views correct? I don't see the tables associated to the view for the utilization so in this case we need to go for the views instead of the table.

I checked the utilization view but it doesn't have the timestamp field? They need the utilization % for each interface of each device with the timestamp so how would we achieve this?.

Thanks. So they have to fetch the as polled data for one interface and calculate it with utilization in % and use it to their dashbaord? by this way they can get 288 rows for 24 hours data for one interface. Is this ithe only possible way ?

I noticed utilization % field in the other table why the product not created such field in the interface traffic cs cur table ? How about considering feature enahncement to implement this?
