Monitor number of ports being used by mobile vpn on an Azure VM using Ubuntu

Hi all, I'm fairly new to Solarwinds so excuse my ignorance but here is my scenario:

We are implementing a new VPN solution using Cloudflare which is installed on an Ubuntu server sat in Azure. There are 11 servers and each one can handle up to 50,000 connections but I need to be able to monitor them number of connections being used on each one and alert if any are approaching 50,000. Is this possible with SAM or do I need to use a different product? I also have NPM and NTA but they are installed on a different Solarwinds instance,

Without diving into this - I think you are looking at SAM, probably an API scripted component or the SAM API Component.
