Connections on Intelligent Maps change display

I recently switched from an Atlas map to an Intelligent map.

I have connections between devices on the map, which typically show utilization in Mbps or Kbps, but occasionally the utilization will change to be like the circled link below.

Is the link showing 3.53k showing Packets/sec?  Is it changing red because that is abnormally high?

If you click on that link, what does the right hand inspector panel show? It should give more info into what that represents. Off the top of my head I believe it's related to errors/discards on the interface.
