Utilise IPAM allocation to fill in a Nodes Location Custom Property

Within SolarWinds, I currently have Location as a Custom Property for Nodes.

I have IPAM setup so that all subnets refer to a location/office etc...

How do I link these two together so that I can;

1) Verify that all devices I've currently listed within each office is correct.

2) Add any additional devices to each location.

Example

Node Name	IP Address	Location
VMAUT01	10.0.1.10	Liverpool Street
VMFIL01	10.0.1.20	Liverpool Street

Within IPAM 10.0.1.0/24 is London

I have extended the query some. This one assumes you want the IPAM network field "location" to go to Node custom property "City".

I first check that location field is not null or blank, then I check if the two fields are the same or not. Only updating the nodes that need updating.

First off, I cheated and ChatGPT wrote this since I didn't have time. Don't trust it, use it as inspiration. Feel Free to DM me if you have issues. Check out the SolarWinds SDK, it has PowerShell commands and the SWQL commands documented.
I would pull the information from IPAM (I wasn't quite sure if you named the subnet, used custom properties, etc.) and then write it into the node location custom property with a PowerShell script.
