Upgrade to 15.5.1 Webclient Auto redirected to New Webclient

I recently did an upgrade from 15.4.2 HF2 to 15.5.1

The 15.4.2 HF2 version HTTP Users used the Webclient that I had customized with HTML Files,  so that The Domain LDAP users can obtain a MFA code from our MFA System.

After the upgrade to 15.5.1, in my testing I found that User Sessions were automatically Redirected to the NewWebClinet URL

The New Weclient Did not have my customizations, so users Could not obtain an MFA Code, which I am enforcing on the HTTPS Domain by way of LDAPS Authentication against the MFT domain.

My Non Production upgrade did not suffer the same issue and has upgraded all ok

Its only my Production systems that this has occured in

I have since rolled back to 15.4.2 HF2 so that my user base can continue to access

Just want to check with the community if they have any ideas on how I might overcome this issue if I try the upgrade again

FYI I backup all the Serv-u.archive, serv-uid and Users folders prior to the upgrade.

Solarwinds Support Alerted me to the following:

Set up custom branding in Serv-U

Ok, So here is My Process and findings - Windows Server:

• Take Server snapshots
• Backup the following files from the Serv-U instalation folder
  • Users Folder
  • Serv-U.Archive
  • Serv-U.Archive.Backup
  • Serv-UID.txt
  • Serv-u.dll
  • Custom HTML Data

Upgrade the MFT Version as administrator

Not sure why but in the upgrade the MFT Domain where I have the HTML customization

Domain\Limits & Settings\Custom HTML: Enable Custom HTML wasn’t kept enabled.

When I browsed to the site after the upgrade the user experience was re directed to the New Web Client.

 

I needed to go into the MFT domain settings,Domain\Limits & Settings\Branding Setup

And re enable 'Enable Custom HTML' in the Legacy Login Page Branding

Once I did this the Legacy\Customised page was presented back to my browser session.
