Installed passive agent without a Shared Secret - How can I do it?

I found the same when installing the agent: it requires a shared secret during install and won't let you leave the field empty.
However, in the "add agent" page, in the section where the shared secret is input, the help text states: "Server initiated communication allows for an optional password. If the agent is currently installed and a shared secret has been set, enter the shared secret here; otherwise, leave this field empty." That is somewhat confusing, being that this text implies there is a way to leave the password empty..
At least for the windows installer, there isn't an option to leave the shared secret empty - I haven't tested for the linux agent yet.
