SolarWinds Platform 2025.2 RC is here!
This release is packed with impactful updates—and I’m especially excited to see a few features I’ve personally advocated for make it into the platform! 
Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s new:
Platform & Map Enhancements:
• Intelligent Maps now support:
• Multiple links between entities
• Background colors in text boxes
• Hyperlinked lines
• Dark Mode support 
• Disconnected pills for improved clarity

WinRM & Security Enhancements:
• Full gMSA support across WMI/WinRM polling

Highlight: Recurring / Scheduled Maintenance Windows
Previously, we had to rely on Windows Task Scheduler for recurring maintenance.
But now it’s natively built-in—another one I’ve long requested!

️ Choose to mute alerts or unmanage devices
️ Multiple windows per device
️ Easily managed via the Manage Nodes page
️ Scalability & API Enhancements:
• Polling engine capacity increased to:
• 1,000 Agents

• New API: SelectiveSwitchover to toggle engine roles
• Performance boosts across dashboards, forecasting, and component widgets
️ SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted Essentials:
• Support added for:

Other Highlights:
• IPv6 support for wireless, SD-WAN, and topology
• SNI support in SSL Expiry monitoring
• VLAN/STP/MAC visualization for switches
• Aruba Central API polling with deep node/interface metrics
• Topology engine now 64-bit by default
