NTM Trial License service dies when running scan

Hi,

I downloaded NTM and trying to run it virtualized. The install seems to work properly and NTM launches and I try to start a scan and it dies with...

Application Error - Network Topology Manager encountered an unexpected error and needs to close. Before the scan the Solarwinds Network Topology Job Scheduler is running, but once the scan crashes, the service dies. I can restart it by hand, but it just dies again when I start another scan.

Can NTM be run in a virualized environment? I'll take any help I can get. I pretty new to the Solarwinds Products.

This is running on a disconnected network.

NTM can be run in a virualized environment. How big a range are you scanning? If you scan a range of 25 devices, do you have the same issue?

I'm only trying to scan for 10 nodes.

Are you seeing any errors in the Windows event logs?

Kernelbase.dll is a Windows DLL file which is used by most windows application like NTM. If this dll file is failing, it is likely for the NTM to fail too. For a quick isolation test, have you tried to install NTM app on a different machine?
