Change vendor name of device

I change vendor name on the db ( table ) on one device , its seems fine, but after period of time the soalrwinds bring back the old vendor name , does someone know why ?

Maybe the solarwinds do discovery automaticly on the devices ?

Can i disable that ?

Thanks but i have only the NCM module and at the NCM unfortunately there is no option like that.
