We have installed Cisco AMP on our Windows systems. Can Cisco AMP be installed on SEM - a Linux system? Thanks in advance.
I do see some Cisco docs implying that there is a configuration for debian-based linux clients for Cisco Amp, so from that perspective it might be technically possible (apologies, i don't know much about how Cisco Amp or whatever they're changing the name to now, works). The harder bit is that as a user of SEM, by design you will not have root access to get into it to install any software so by yourself you won't be able to do it. As you might imagine that locked-down approach is one of the selling points as auditors and manager tend to like the secure-by-default approach. You'll need to open a Tech Support case to see if that is something they can work with you on. Offhand, I'm not sure on that one way or the other, but they should be able to talk to you about it and answer that question quickly.
Thanks for the information!
