Trying to alert on a stale file

I am using a file age application monitor to monitor a specific file for staleness.  This file is updated continuously throughout the day.  Sometimes the file becomes corrupt and needs to be automatically recreated by the system that is using it.  If the file sits any longer then 2 days issues start to occur in this software.  After the application monitor is set up, I am having a hard time understanding how I can set up an alert to be triggered after the file is stale for 48 hours.  Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

 @joe432008 This would be done in 2 parts.

1. Configure the assigned Application Monitor Template to go in to a warning/critical state when the age of the last modification date hits a specific X hours. This would be done once you assigned the File Age Monitor to a specific node. Edit the monitor, and expand the component that is monitoring the file. Under the Statistic Threshold section, input thresholds in # of hours that this component would be considered a warning state and a critical state. 2. You will not want to enable and configure the 'Alert me when a component going into warning or critical state'. I generally recommend duplicating the alert and editing the new copy. You can also configure this alert to only look at the specific component configured by adding the component name in to the trigger action. You would set the alert to trigger after a specific amount of time to prevent overfiring every time the component goes into a warning or critical state. https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/core-manage-alert-actions.htm
