Netvanta SNMP inconsistencies - routers work, switches don't

Hello fello SWers,

We have some Netvantas to monitor. We are able to use SNMP v2c with a complex string on the 3140 model, but the exact same string does not work on 153? or1234 router models.

Has anyone ideas on why this might be and hopefully a resolution?

Hi Joe,

Just a thought but I've seen kit reject SNMP comm-strings with meta-characters in them.
Try an alphanumeric comm-string.
