connection from python

Greetings Community
I need to know the details of how to connect and run a query from a Python script. More than anything, I need to know which libraries or how to make the connection, if it requires registering a local user in the controller or what user you use to connect. I know there is also the possibility of connecting through VScode and running queries, maybe that can help discover how to connect.
