We have dozens of separate sites interconnected with multiple point-to-point radio links. Each individual site has a router, several radios, many switches and other devices (UPS, etc.). We have an Intelligent Map per site. I would like to navigate map-to-map following radio links. In other mapping systems, I've been able to double click or right-click on a radio and directly open a new tab with the site map for the other end of the radio link.
I've found one approach with SolarWinds which almost works. Assume site A has three radios connecting to sites C, F & K. On site map A, I can place a map entity for map F next to the radio that points to site F and link the two. Then if I want to open the map to which radio F is connected, I right-click on the Map F entity connected to the radio that points at site F and select "Open link in new tab". That works!
But now, if a switch at site F goes down, the map entity for site F will turn red (as it should), but this alarm status gets rolled up causing map A to show red. Is there a way to suppress rollup of alarms from a map entity?
Alternately, is there a different approach that could solve our problem?
