Missing hardware sensor - power supply

Hi,

I have a crashed power supply in a Cisco switch. The NPMs do not show me this error as if such a power supply does not exist at all. As I browse the database I see that the power supply is detected o has a status of “OffEnvOther” and the flag “IsDeleted” set.

Why does SolarWinds set such a flag? How to cause crashed power supplies to show up?

I had an issue where I was missing power supplies as well. If the above solution doesn't work you can try changing this setting under Settings > All Settings > Polling Settings and switch this preferred cisco MIB:

Switching this found previously missing power supplies.

Check the hardware sensors under Settings > All Settings, and in the Node & Group Management grouping, select Manage Hardware Sensors. Find the node you're looking for and make sure the sensor is enabled.

Thank's. This change resolve the my issue.

Created an account, to also say this was it. Flipped it on, found ~11 switches with bad PSUs. Without it, they all looked green.
