Q. Why didn't we get an alert for the node that went down.
A. Because you didn't populate the custom properties required for alerting and that are posted on our SharePoint site.
Q: Why does it say the node is down when I can RDP into itA: Because we can't ping the IP shown here, is this still the IP of the device? Have there been any firewall changes that would stop me from pinging it?
