Added nodes via solarwinds sdk missing Network Latency & Packet Loss graph

Hello

I've been adding nodes into solarwinds using python and the solarwinds sdk. The nodes are adding fine and i've added the required pollers but they are missing the Network Latency & Packet Loss graph. All the data seems to be there but the graph doesn't show up. 
Users have been clicking on edit node and then submitting the page without changing any of the settings on the edit node page. After submitting the page the graph shows. 

I'm thinking it could be setting a default view or something similar to that. I've tried looking in swis to find the differneces between a node thats working and one that isn't. I've not noticed anything differnt in the nodes table or nodesettings. 

Has anyone else had a similar problem or know how to set the default view.

Sorry I do not have an answer to your issue, but I would like to see if you would share how you scripted to automatically add nodes. Some of my team members have looked into this but could not find an easy way to select the interfaces to monitor. Most of the time it would select all of them that are up, which we usually just want the uplinks for network switches, which we mostly add to our network instance. Were you able to overcome this?
