alert for MPLS link saturation.

Greetings to the community,

I need an alert for MPLS link saturation. For example, I have a 2GB interface that my IPS gives me and I want to know if it will alert me when I exceed 75% of the 2GB usage. What alert could I get for what I need? Where do I set those 2GB that the IPS is giving me. I hope I have expressed myself well.

Edit your WAN interface for that MPLS link.

1. Check the Custom Bandwidth and update both boxes to 2000 (Assuming the connection is symmetrical)

2. In the Thresholds section, update the warning to 75% for both receive and transmit.

3. Make sure you have an alert that is looking for when an interface passes a defined threshold.
