I would like to know if there is a way to send SMS alert from DPA.
Unfortunately, right now, that is a feature request. We support email and SNMP traps. If you have an application that can receive an SNMP trap and convert to SMS, you could use it to send notifications...
Only indirectly using an email to SMS gateway, or as mandevil suggests use an SNMP trap.
We have an email rule that looks for a specific keyword in the subject and then sends the email on to the gateway if the keyword is detected.
Not pretty, but it works.

We have been doing this for years. Sometimes the text message will be delayed beyond how long an email takes to get delivered, but usually it arrives when an email would arrive, in fact we often send both at the same time. I think you'll find that the amount of time it takes to receive a text message sent via email will be more variable than sending an email via email. :-)
