Is Your Organization Ready for the New DORA Cybersecurity Framework? - Orange Matter

My Organization recognizes the critical importance of cybersecurity and has been proactively working towards aligning with the five pillars of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) framework.  A robust cybersecurity posture is not built overnight, and we've been diligently strengthening our defenses and processes for almost 14 years; it has been a partnership with SolarWinds along with some great Enterprise relationships!

Our efforts have focused on:

• ICT Risk Management: We've implemented proactive risk management strategies, leveraging tools like SolarWinds and collaborating with third-party experts to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Incident Reporting: We have established clear incident reporting procedures to ensure timely and effective response to any security events.
• Digital Operational Resilience Testing: We conduct regular testing and exercises to validate our resilience and identify areas for improvement.
• Third-Party Risk Management: We carefully assess and manage risks associated with third-party vendors and partners; MOU's and Policy Management is a MUST!
• Information Sharing: We actively participate in information sharing initiatives with relevant stakeholders to stay informed about emerging threats and best practices; we are now to the point in our community where we are setting up a "task force" with stakeholders that represent each of the critical infrastructure components in a community.

We believe that our ongoing efforts and commitment to continuous improvement have positioned us well for compliance with the DORA framework. We recognize that cybersecurity is an evolving landscape, and we remain dedicated to adapting our practices to meet the latest requirements and challenges. 

Thank you SolarWinds for the great partnership over the years!   It's almost that time of year again—our anniversary! I'm racking my brain trying to figure out the perfect gift for you. Hmm, how about another renewal?

In all seriousness,  The SolarWinds tools and this incredible THWACK community have been instrumental in my success. I've always believed that you don't have to be the smartest person in the room, you just need to have a strong work ethic, take initiative, and surround yourself with brilliant people who are willing to share their knowledge. (And let's be honest, there are some seriously smart folks in this THWACK community!)

SolarWinds, you've made it possible for me to "borrow" the best ideas and apply them to my own environment. No need to reinvent the wheel, right? Just get the job done and make everyone look good in the process!
