Does anyone know when we may hear dates for 2025 SWUG events?
Hi @brooke.twehus - thanks for reaching out about SWUG! We have some exciting new plans for this year's SolarWinds events, and will share more soon.
Thanks! Can't wait to hear about it!
yes, I hope they let us know soon. travels arrangements and budgets and such...
Yer I don't think i'll be going to the UK one this time Higher Education there has pretty much dropped it's pants and there's budget cuts across the sector
This is coming up: thwack.solarwinds.com/.../rock-with-us-at-the-2025-solarwinds-world-tour-in-houston-tx
We are changing it up a bit this year and bringing our community together for a World Tour, including over 15 events taking place around the globe over the spring and summer months. We will be sharing more details in the next week or so. We look forward to see you out on the road!
Looking forward to one near me. I've got a road.
Great news! Do you know how far in advance we will know about the events? I saw there is one in Texas in April but unfortunately that doesn't give our company enough time to go through the approval process
Houston is our first US event. We should roll out the others in the next week or so with other dates taking place in late April, early and mid May as well as the first half of June.
Thanks! Looking forward to hearing the other US dates
Thanks Jenne!
I registered for London ages ago but still haven't heard back as to whether my registration has been approved. I need to get the time booked at work so can anyone let me know if I'm on the guest list (VIP obviously ).
Hi Peter, Thank you for reaching out. Apologies for the delay on this, you have now been accepted, and you should have received your approval email. Thank you!
I get the SWUG this year is more sales pitch than techy stuff so will be missing this one.
Also the one day makes it less value going by the time train tickets or flights are paid for.
Yeah. I can't justify a flight, hotel, etc for just a one day event. Sadly, I won't be able to attend any more of these if they stay in the "lite" format.
@SeizureGman this years World Tour events provide a deeper look into the topic of Operational Resilience that was shared on the April SolarWinds Day webcast as well as sessions about our product roadmap, tool sprawl, technical sessions on how to save time & work efficiently, etc. We'd love you to join us in Atlanta, New York, Chicago, or San Francisco to experience one for yourself if you can make the time. The feedback so far from Houston and DC has been very positive.
@john_c._lyons While these are shorter events we do not charge a fee to attend in hopes that you find the content and networking to be worth the trip if you are not local. That being said, there are some more virtual events in the works for later this year that you might be interested in if travel costs are an issue. The team looks forward to sharing more soon.
Same, I was really hoping to attend but it's not worth the travel time for one day.
I looked at the agenda and it felt more like a sales pitch to me where the SWUG i went to last year and year before that were great and full of techy stuff and the social atmosphere was great which is saying a lot as i'm autistic
