Checkpoint VPN Status

Question

Hi experts,

i'm trying to monitor VPN tunnel from a checkpoint firewall.

i've used the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.500.9002.1.3

On the MIB Browser i got this result:

On SNMPWalk i can see this OID, but it has an IP after "1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.500.9002.1.3" like 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.500.9002.1.3.100.100.29.242.0 = STRING: "Tunnel1 :3 "

Anyone got a problema like this?

You don't have to handle it, just set your UNDP to a tabular poller and it should be good to go.  Those IP's are just the "index" of the snmp table in this case.

I'm already in touch with the vendor, they are checking. While I don't have their feedback, I'm trying to find alternatives to monitor the VPN tunnel status. I haven't been able to think of any way to handle this IP address that is appearing after the OID.

Raise a case in that case with the vendor, SNMP Walk seems to work fine but not here is strange. I hope you are running SNMP Walk from SolarWinds Pollers where this device is added.
