Application Templates on Windows Servers generating false alerts

I noticed that the Application Templates I create and assign to Windows servers have issues. I noticed numerous times that the components on these application servers go in Critical or Unknown status while the actual service is running without any issues on the server. Has anyone come across such an issue? Any help will be appreciated.

Could be due to performance issues on either your SolarWinds Servers or on the end devices (Windows boxes) on which the template is applied on.

1. If there are too many such cases then it's definitely your SolarWinds Server which needs to be maintained - If it isnt this case that means there aren't any performance issues on your SolarWinds Servers - try extending the polling time on your templates rather than the default 300 secs or so. This might help and to keep your environment clean use the best practices.

2. If this happens in very few scenarios - then check if the windows boxes on which the issue happens is due to some kind of resource crunch on the windows boxes or does it have a pattern like say only during certain hours in a day on that particular box it could be happening.
