Hi all! I'm struggling to find a way to make this work, and I'm hoping the community can help, or point me in the right direction!
We have a bunch of servers running IIS, but for now I'm focusing on one and can duplicate later. We are looking for a way to have Solarwinds alert (and ultimately email) if an IIS site or App Pool stops running.
In my test case I have installed the agent on my Windows VM running IIS. I have the agent connected to SW and polling, and have setup AppInsight for IIS on this server. It sees the sites, the app pools etc and will alert when the app pool is offline, but not when the site is offline. Is there a way to edit AppInsight to have it examine for both conditions in an OR fashion? Perhaps there's a better way to do this than AppInsight?
