Solarwinds database - log size vs database size?

Greetings All.

Working in in a SW Self-Hosted environment.  Running version 2024.1 .

I'm starting to look regularly the 'main' Solarwinds database using AI for SQL.  I notice that the log file size consistently about 4x the size of the database file.  

Wondering... is this normal?  SW Database maintenance, and backups, appear to be completing without errors.

You can check SQL settings to see if the database is set to SIMPLE or FULL. FULL will always generate a much larger log file. SIMPLE is all that is needed for the SW platform, but sometimes there are advanced SQL functions/tooling that might require FULL to be implemented (failover/AlwaysOn, etc). If you have a DBA, I'd ask about it.
