For some mysterious reason, only a small portion of our ~1800 Hyper-V servers had the Hyper-V role added when the agent was installed, while most of them did not.
I couldn’t find a way to add this role via the command line; the only working method I found was through the console GUI—listing resources and then selecting the Hyper-V role.
I’ve tried using the API, PowerShell cmdlets, network discovery (via GUI), and even manually editing the database, but without success (considering the many VIM tables involved).
Is there a way to achieve this?
