Not sure if this is even possible but...
On many of our nodes we're using simple ICMP monitoring and when a node goes down having it go through the warning/critical states isnt super useful to us. Is it possible for nodes to just use up or down states?
We're replacing an old installation of ipmonitor with solarwinds so we're running both right now. We have alerts set for the same time in both solarwinds and IPM. When a node comes back online IPM sends an email immediately but SW takes about a min because its going through the warning/critical stages before the alert is reset..
Not a huge deal, but it'd be nice.
