Unable to open multiple windows

I have just upgraded from 2020.2.6 to 2024.2.0.

In 2020 when I click view mode on a map widget it would open a new tab to display the view, if I {right click} open link in a new tab it would open a new tab.

in 2024 when I click view mode on a map widget it opens in the same window to display the view, if I {right click} open link in a new tab it opens to about:blank#blocked

In 2020 I could open multiple browser windows with no impact. I could edit nodes, for example, while still having the summary page open in another browser window or tab and I could also have different map views open in other browser windows or tabs.

in 2024 I can only have one window open. If I open another tab or window to display any data, could be the same or could be anything, the entire browser display will lock up and wont load any info until I close any open windows until only one is open then it will refresh and pull the data.

I have been looking through settings but have not found anything that may be the issue.

Is this normal behavior in 2024?

Definitely not, I don't think this has something to do with SolarWinds. Run ConfigWizard this will reset your Web Server.

But then this looks like something specific to your environment - maybe a browser issue or security settings in your company on the browser

Usually, about:blank#blocked appears when you're trying to visit a website that's restricted for security reasons. Sometimes, about:blank#blocked appears when URLs are too long. The About Blank Blocked page can't be completely removed or disabled because it's a built-in browser feature.

There are a few things you can do to fix ``about blank'' blocked.
One thing you can try is clearing your browser's cache and cookies.
You can also try using a different browser, or disabling any extensions or plugins you have installed.
If that doesn't work, you can try resetting your browser to its default settings.

I'm not seeing that, and I routinely have >10 tabs open.

With the newer Orion Maps, some views don't allow right-click but an extra click with those usually gets you to a point where you can.
