MPLS Interface showing as down, but it is up and functional

Question

I am monitoring MPLS interfaces on two different routers.

Both routers have the same config respectively.

The interface on one end of the MPLS is reporting fine in SolarWinds.

The interface at the other end reports as administratively down. I assure you, it is up/up at the router and performing fine.

I am trying to resolve this misreporting in Solarwinds. I have removed the node, readding it again. I have turned monitoring for the interface on/off. I've compared configs. I've compared all SNMP settings.

The interface on this end of the connection continues to just give down status in Solarwinds. Other interfaces on the same router are reporting correctly and all interfaces on the other MPLS router are reporting well.

We'll try this. But reporting across this device is good, except this one interface.

Same router model and interface on another device is reporting just fine.

Have you tried to snmp walk the device directly to see what the raw snmp status code is showing?  Vendors have been known to have snmp bugs where they report incorrect data and SW is only going to show you what it's seeing when it polls the device.
