Multiple alerts receiving on on poler which is in HA

Question

Hi Team,

We are receiving multiple alerts on one polers which is in HA mode, As verified there is no outage at the site.

Steps taken.

1. verified poler status , up & running.

2 Re configure database

3 Restarted the server

still having issue can someone help to sort the issue.

Can't pin point the exact reason or solution for this query - there could be several things that might have gone wrong in your environment, raising a support case is the best option for this issue.

Probably it could be resource exhaustion on your SolarWinds Server, probably it could be port exhaustion, probably it could be routing or DNS issues something on your network where you cannot ping or reach the end devices from your poller, probably it could be a job engine or collector service where you might need to rebuild it or clear .db files, probably it could also be some sort of antivirus or windows defender thing, or probably server could be acting crazy because of a recent patch that you installed on SolarWinds Server or probably some recent latency spike between your server and db.

I understand you have performed standard steps to fix the issue temporarily but that might only resolve the issue temporarily. It could be anything that might have occurred and that would be very specific to your environment. Firstly is your poller failing over ? If yes the question would be why ? If its not in that case there could be several reasons as I have mentioned above.

Enable an alert when fail over happens.  Maybe it's triggering a Fail over.
