we need to create a modern dashboard table widget which can give details of both points

• DB size abnormally high compared to last check.
• Transactional log size abnormally high or full

also want alerts on these 2 above points if sizes are approaching to abnormally high.

To create the dashboard, query the database size with SELECT SUM(size * 8 / 1024) AS DBSizeMB FROM sys.master_files WHERE type = 0; and log size with DBCC SQLPERF(logspace);. Official website Set thresholds like DB > 500GB and log > 50GB. Use SQL Agent or Alerts to notify when these thresholds are breached. Display the data on the dashboard showing the current size, threshold, and status. Implement real-time notifications (e.g., email or Slack) when the sizes exceed the defined limits.
