SDWAN Edge overload

Hello Guys,

can someone help me understand what parameters does SDWAN-Overload out of the box alert is considering to say a SDWAN is overloaded. while checking the alert is giving device load.

wanted to understand what does by device load, can we fetch it using SNMP monitoring

I would be surprised if SNMP polls this; it's probably monitored through API to the orchestrator. I would see how this number is defined and how they track overload to adjust this alert accordingly. Since we support different vendors, there might be some adjustments based on how the vendor tracks this metric. I'm not sure, as I've not set up multiple different vendors for SDWAN monitoring in Observability Self-Hosted, but it's worth looking at and confirming.

Thanks for the reply, I am confused where and how this metric configured on the device. Does it identify the CPU and memory of the edge devices and alert accordingly or do we have a separate metric that tracks total load of the device?
