SWQL query to get AvgRate value displayed as a chart

Hi,

I am looking for your kind support to develop an SWQL query to get AvgRate value displayed as a chart with historical data.

I already have a custom poller which is displaying default total value as shown in the screenshot but I need AvgRate value which is already available in DB.

Just to update you, am able to trigger the alert using the rate threshold but still am searching a way to create chart graph for AvgRate.

Thank you all, am able to achieve chart requirements using reports.

Added custom chart and selected the custom poller, then edit chart & chose AvgRate which was available there.

*Correction: poller displays Total value by default

select cps.avgrate,cps.description from orion.NPM.CustomPollerStatistics as cps where cps.datetime<=getutcdate()-15

Above query will give the results in tabular format for last 15 days.

Is it possible to make custom poller by default to display AvgRate instead of Total because it’s a counter OID?

Actually, I want to assign this poller to all the applicable nodes and then to create an alert based on specific threshold but am not sure if it’s possible.

I believe you are pulling the table vaures using Custom poller, if yes check for OID gives avg value and poll it only, if not I would suggest since it is coming in the Database as avg value, write a swql alert based on thresold.
