Proactive monitoring based on Query Patterns

I am fairly new to Solarwinds DPA & I am looking forward to build proactive monitoring to identify Users/Application who's query patterns are changing on day/hourly.

Few examples

1.Lets say Application A1 is firing the query Q1 avg 5 times every hour, if the query frequency increases by %20 then alert the application own

2. Lets say Application B1 is firing avg 1000 queries every hour, if its increases by 30% then alert the application owner

Looking at existing reports/alerts, it doesn't seem to supported.

Is this possible with out of the box alerts, if not how it can be developed outside.

Hi Vailbhav, welcome to the DPA community! So this should be possible with a custom alert that goes after summarized query stats (executions) at the hourly interval. Check out the post I just created here on Thwack content and let me know if it makes sense and you can successfully create the new alert or if I need to alter it any. You may have a more elegant way to get the percent increase you are looking for, so please feel free to re-write the query to your liking.
