NTM

Question

Hi, I have created a MAP into NTM and want to import that into SolarWidns orion map. We don't have network atlas. Can someone please let me know if it is possible or may be somehow we can integrate these two?. If yes then please let me know the steps for it.

So, whilst the direct answer is no, I'm intrigued that you say you don't have Network Atlas (NA) as that comes bundled with NPM. You can find the installer in c:\program files(x86)\solarwinds\orion (this is the default path but it could be 'program files' or another drive and depends on your install) as NetworkAtlas.exe or by a link on the NA widget.

So, what you can do is from NTM export (or save as) [see here: https://solarwindscore.my.site.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Export-maps-into-Network-Atlas?language=en_US#:~:text=In%20the%20Network%20Topology%20mapper,Import%20the%20map] an NA map and then you can import that NA map into Orion Maps if you are running 2024.2.1 [or newer]

Orion (now known as Intelligent) Maps are very poor in their import options and don't have any export options. You can only import from a Network Atlas map.

So, unfortunately the answer is no you can't import an NTM map into a Solarwinds one.
