We're working on deploying solarwinds to our network environment. I've been working with our server admin to get all our switches talking to it by snmp and functional account, and working on some use cases such as IPAM, baselines and of course alerts. I'd like to set up an alert for a critical computer that runs a service that needs to be up to send a email page to our desktop support team. I know the smtp settings are working because i have real time changes enabled now and some other alerts are working.
I'am not using any advanced settings and just the built in wizard. I think the below should work, but it will not trigger. Am i missing something here? I have tried matching the name and using contains, and having on/off position swapped in the alert. Thank you for your assistance.
