Interactive KPI Dashboard

Hello Guys,

Wanted to know How to link multiple widgets together to achieve interactive KPI dashboards in modern SolarWinds dashboard, for example I have a list of node down table widget and wanted to link this widget to KPI widget having count of node down number so that I can make the widget interactive. I saw the interactive KPI widgets but missing the logic how can achieve it. Do we have any articles or KBs.

Not completely sure what you're after, but it's probably a combination of a few of these:

- Generating Links, and applying those to the formatter

- Generating Links which have filters or other dynamic things applied to them

- Wait a patch or two for the drilldown widget, else there's a couple good writeups on here for the current version

So you mention having a list of nodes down, and then you click those and it shows a count

I guess you could do

- Add a column to your list datasource, that generates a URL, in this case you could maybe link to a static report ", 'https://orion/...dashboard/99'; as linkcollumn" which shows a count of node down, or like the same thing with a filter calculated of some sort.

- Add that to the behaviour formatter or whatever it's called

Thankyou for your reply I am looking for an interactive modern dashboard wherein I wanted to click on the view and it has to take me to associated view. like if I click on the acknowledge alerts it has to show me the acknowledge alerts list in another widget.

Thanks for sharing , I have created below custom query , added to KPI widget but when I am clicking on it it doesn't helping me to land on different page where I have created a table widget having all devices with status,am I missing something .. does any modifications needed
