Config Change Template Connection Refused but Config Backup and Compliance Remediation Successful

I am trying to learn to use config change templates but when I try to execute my test the connection refuses.

What is odd is that the connection test succeeds.

Config backup succeeds in connecting and downloading the config.

Compliance reports also are able to successfully connect and execute remediation scripts to the devices config file.

I would expect if these succeed, especially the compliance report remediation script, then the CCG should succeed as well.

Any thoughts what could be going on here?

I forgot to add, if it's relevant, the CCG script passed validation and does nothing. I just sends exit to the cli.

Trying to keep it simple to start.

I'm kind of curious if anyone has bee able to use config change templates in the last few versions. I rarely use them but the last time I tried i couldn't get any of the ones that i know worked in the past to actually work, so I just pivoted and did what I needed through powershell. Never circled back to figure out if I was experiencing a personal problem or if the templates got broken by some recent "security" improvement.
