Anyone else seeing SolarWinds trying to authenticate with Kerberos even though the polling engine is set to default? Polling works fine using NTLM and Wmi Probe. Not sure why Kerberos is trying also authenticate.
Are any of the nodes using SAM to monitor server applications? I know you can set the authentication type for specific applications, negotiate will try use Kerberos first and then fail over to NTLM.
To review this go into the application monitor, edit it, scroll down and press the +button to review the settings of the appl monitor and check WinRM auth mechanism.
Your right. I just took a quick look and yes, we have most of our servers being monitored via SAM. They are on negotiate. Thanks for the info!
