NTA high CPU/Memory usage - 2024.2.0

Ever since we upgraded to version 2024.2.0 on the SW platform, the NTA services has been using a high amount of CPU/Memory.

This is causing the main polling engine to hover around 100% cpu utilization, the NTA service itself seems to take up 30%-40% of the CPU and about 8-10GB of RAM.

I have had a case open with support for the past 3 weeks with no solution.

I have tried going through the configuration wizard, I have tried restarting the sevices, and I have also reduced the NTA DB retention settings. I have even rebooted the entire server to no avail.

Has anyone else had any issues after upgrading to 2024.2.0?

Are you by any chance receiving flow from Cisco ISR/ASR, AND are you seing Unreconized applications in your charts?

I'd also check folder and filess access using the permission tool described here:

Restart the system after repairing permissions.

I don't think that is the issue, at least I am not seeing any unrecognized applications.
We also tried disabling NTA as a process of elimination. This worked for a little bit, but then the SWJobEngineWorkerV2 ended up being the top CPU usage. This still caused the CPU usage to spike and creep up over time.

I am not sure NTA is the issue anymore, whatever workaround we apply it only works for a week before the CPU usage stays at 100% and then the server crashes. When the server does crash it does seem to mess with the database maintenance and cause the charts not to load for a while. When I do try to load the chart it spikes the CPU usage of the database and slows down the web console.

I've had a ticket open with Support for over a month now and we have still not made any significant progress.

I'm having the exact same issue, but on 2024.4, everything was perfect for us in 2024.2, but since 2024.4 the platform is not stable, it's like something causes cpu and memory leak on NTA and Job Engine.

I've opened a case but the support has been really poor up until now, as often lately and sadly.
