Alert On OSPF Dead Timer Expiration on NHRP tunnel between hub and spoke

I have many alerts in SolarWinds but I need to create an alert that sends an email when OSPF dead timers expire between two routers at the hub and spoke that is sent over a NHRP tunnel. How exactly do I do that?

Note: I have created alerts before but recently when I go into SW I just don't feel like figuring out the convoluted way SW sets things up.

So, because of the way NHRP and interfaces work together by default, the interface doesn't go down if the tunnel is actually down.   I'm guessing that's why you're looking for OSPF dead-timers?  If so, there might be an easier way.

On Cisco routers at least, if you put "if-state nhrp" in the interface config, the interface will show that it's up or down based on the NHRP status.   ie: if NHRP isn't resolving, the interface is down.  If it's up, the interface is up.    Much easier than trying to track OSPF dead-timers, so not sure it this would work for you?
