My new YouTube Channel with SolarWinds content

Hello,

I would like to invite you to my new YouTube channel, where I decided to share my know-how, guidelines as well as tips and tricks (incl. custom widgets, scripting, APIs etc.).

All the material used in my videos is also available on Thwack (Content Exchange) and in my new public Github repository: https://github.com/kpmarcin/SolarWinds/

New videos will be published at least once a week and I will be grateful for subscribing to the channel. It is worth highlighting that the channel is not associated with any company or SolarWinds partner.

I hope that my videos will help you in your daily work with SolarWinds

I also encourage you to send requests and suggestions for new videos, even if they are complicated (queries, scripts, widgets, reports, etc.).

I am preparing more videos about my custom workarounds (gathered after 10 years of work). I also plan to create more generic videos and guidelines, so a lot to do.

Yes, I also noticed that there are not many SolarWinds videos on YouTube and I will try to help with that

I'm glad that you found them useful. I am trying to make them as short as possible, without unnecessary intros, but with good details and showing the use cases on real working environment.

Yes, definitely. I decided to make a long term commitment to build my own channel. There is a long list of new videos to be published in the following days/weeks.

I checked out a couple of the videos and they really clear up some things I’d been confused about, especially around alert tuning. If you're just getting started or want to better explain stuff to your team, this might be your thing. I shared the link with a coworker who's new to SolarWinds and told him to watch a few before I gave him the full story on how we use it here.

I've just started using SolarWinds tools more seriously, and your latest video on API integration filled in a few gaps I'd been struggling with. The real-life examples make a big difference, especially for those not from scripting backgrounds.
