AND Trigger condition not working for two different Universal Pollers

Hello All,

We are facing an issue while configuring AND trigger condition. We want to trigger an alert for two different Custom Pollers e.g. Universal Poller A and Universal Poller B.

We are expecting AND condition must run,

Scenario1 (AND):-

When Universal Poller A < 10% AND Universal Poller B < 20% then Orion should trigger the alerts. But this AND condition is not working.

Scenario2 (OR):-

When Universal Poller A < 20% OR Universal Poller B < 20% then one condition fulfill the criteria and Orion triggers an alert. Means OR condition is working.

Can any one came across such situation of Scenario1 (AND) and fixed the issue.

Any help on this issue highly appreciated.

Mesverrum is right, complex conditions solve this, select one poller for one and one for the other.

The Why is worth considering. Here the alert is for a custom node poller, to trigger an alert the condition returns an ID from the home table (the custom node poller table in this instance). You've got two seperate pollers with different IDs, therefor the condition is checking for if a single ID has the properties of two IDs, and as such it wont find it.

You could alert at the Node level, looking for where a node has both the child properties of Custompoller A Down and custompoller B down, and that is fine to return an ID back because you can have as many child properties as you want really.

The other way to go at it, which is what I always do because it is easier for me to validate the conditions are correct, would be to make a custom SQL/SWQL alert.

The normal triggers implicitly assume that you are looking for a single object that meets all the conditions.  So you can't create a node poller alert that has two different node poller names.

The OOTB way for dealing with this is to scroll to the bottom of the page and enable complex conditions.  One condition will be for poller A and the second condition would be for poller b, but the complex alert wouldn't trigger until both are true (as long as you set it up correctly)
